Michael Martin has steadily produced, directed, acted and written for the stage since moving to New Orleans in 2002. Most notable credits include a year-long run as The Bachelor in New Orleans; award nominations for lead performances in Andrew Vaught’s Christmas Carol for George Wallace and John Grimsley’s Finding the Enemy; high praise for an environmental staging of Williams’ Night of the Iguana and founding Four Humours Theater. Most recent credits include small roles in Tulane Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar and ACT/Dillard’s Porgy, “George” in Silk Dress Productions’ Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and directing Happy Days for Four Humours. On film in 2011 he appeared in work by Ben Matheny, Billy Louviere, Savannah Curtis, Jonas Rasmussen and in the television series BREAKOUT KINGS.
