Michelle Nicolette Kowalski

Michelle Nicolette Kowalski, a Louisiana native, was born in Baton Rouge. Hand in hand with her penchant of holding her friends hostage to make films, she began following the film path around her and, while biding her time, getting involved in the Louisiana Film Center and WBRZ and making short films under the auspices of the LSU Cinema Club.

Later, Kowalski moved to New Orleans for film school three weeks before Katrina, in keeping with her knack for perfect timing. Rid of all her belongings, she had more time to focus on filmmaking and her craft as a visual psychologist, aka director of photography!

Look for shorts Kowalski (Director of Photography) filmed, such as THE SECRET LIFE OF THINGS, UNGREETABLE, CHRISTOPHER WALKENSON’S DISEASE, RESPECT, TRUST BOB — and music videos, such as Antenna Inn (4 parts), Mohican Scouts – Charles Lindberg, Nasimiyu – Time is a Train, Nasimiyu – The Machine and Gravy Flavored Kisses.

Camera woman extraordinaire, Kowalski started the production company Killer Kowalski Productions and, in association with Unclear Pictures, proudly came aboard to film her latest, HOTCAKES.  You can go to Facebook and “like” her Killer Kowalski Productions page or find her on iMDB to track her progress.
